Is it just me or does anyone else not like steelies?

I think that black wheels only work with light coloured vehicles. Like white, or silver, or something. Otherwise it's just a giant blob of blaaaaaack. Nothing to set them off.

Hey look at me I took my hubcaps off and now I have rims - What I think every time I see steelies

I can sorta see what you did there...

I just think someone turned too sharply, one wheel cover fell off, so they just took them all off.

The car needs to be at least a few decades old for them to look good IMO.

I don't categorically like steelies. Not on modern cars. Or any other performance minded car. Whenever I see steelies , there's a little voice in my head bouncing around shouting stuff about unsprung weight and how that is super important.

Ah. Looks like a dealership garage?
I work at MNAO, so the new 3 caught my eye.

I love black wheels on ANY CAR in ANY COLOR. Unfortunately these will be covered with crappy plastic wheel covers.

Or they're cheaper and better rim for Winter tires.

Ah, I'm one of your peon parts managers. Small world!

Correction, Im one of your peon engineers trying to design parts for you! Small world indeed! =D

Ooooh, I like what you've done with the smaller bumpers. Very nice. The CX-9 covers were getting out of hand, and barely fit through a normal sized door while inside their box.
(not sure if you really had anything to do with that, but thanks anyways!)

Steelies may be trendy now but they will add about 10 pounds to each wheel compared to decent alloy. That's a lot of unsprung rotating mass. Only acceptable with snow tires wrapped around them IMO.

Well, some of us can't just plop down $400 for rims, yo.
